Don't Slay a Dragon This Evening – Read a Book Instead Skyrim's extensive library of books available for portable devices thanks to a tenacious fan.
Bethesda have time and again proven apt at creating richly populated worlds and intriguing cultures for gamers to explore and partly by their definition cultures tend to mean books. The lands of the Elder Scroll universe are no different and latest edition to the series probably has enough books to give your local library a run for it's money. However, it's not always convenient to take time out to read up on Daedric Princess when you're supposed to be retrieving a golden claw or meeting out justice to bandits.
Luckily for fans who would like to immerse themselves further into Skyrim's lore a fan of the game has compiled all of the books into a convenient format that can be viewed on devices like an iPad or Kindle. 'Capaneus' has created two versions of the file: a Kindle friendly .mobi file and an .epub version for iOS and others, which is free to download and use.
The files can be downloaded from Capaneus' blog here.
So next time you find yourself chastised for spending too long playing video games, why not stave off dragon slaying for a night and read a book instead?
